As SDIX grows, currently seeking an Account Manager for our Food Safety side of the business. Territory consists of South-Midwest (Texas, Nebraska, Kansas, and Oklahoma) region of U.S.
- Bachelor degree in science or some equivalent.
- 3- 5 years of sales experience, preferably in a technical field within food safety industry
- Understanding of basic science principles used in the development of offerings of business lines. Basic understanding pricing & sales models; government & industry regulations & contacts in beef industry

- Prospects, researches and locates new business opportunities using technical, organizational and customer knowledge to influence and assist customers.
- Primarily responsible for regional clients with a given geographic and business line territory
- Develops proposals and presentations to acquire new or increase current business.
- Works with and takes direction from Sales Manager and Marketing Director with regards to market focus and style as well as the outside account managers with regards to specific client needs and sales development.
- Produces and submits weekly sales activity report along as well as monthly prospect report.
- Develops quotes, forecasts, and written orders using established SDIX proposals
- Business growth of at least 33% (New business development & closes) (Increased penetration of exisiting accounts) (Maintain growth and exisiting relationships)
- Mastery of Sales Force.com
- Experience using dashboards and business plans bi-weekly
- Travel at least 50%
