The successful candidate will have:
* A minimum of 8 years of Channel Marketing/Trade marketing experience in CPG in the Foodservice or Alternative Channel (Dollar, Drug C&G), along with at least 5 years of managerial experience
* Innovation and New Product Development experience
* Category growth levers roadmap development
* Develop innovative, comprehensive business plans
* Exposure to decision support data/tools (IRI, Nielsen, Spectra, HH Panel)
* High level of flexibility and the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
* Strong project management/organization skills .
* Success in problem solving and critical thinking
* Proven ability to execute results quickly & effectively
* Undergraduate Degree in business, marketing or related field is preferred

Are you looking to create short and long term marketing strategies for a newly from business unit? If yes, then The Dannon Company, Inc, has the perfect opportunity for you.
As the Away From Home (AFH) Marketing Director, we will look to you to create and ensure the right execution of the short and long term marketing strategies are develop for the Dannon brand portfolio in the AFH Channel.
In this newly created role, there will be many opportunities, and possibilities, to increase results in the AFH space.
In this role, we will look to you to:
* Ensure the development and understanding of consumer and customer (operators) insights, needs, GTM and financials.
* Lead & develop the long term vision for Dannon brands in the AFH channel identifying the key strategic initiatives and build up.
*Lead the development and execution of the annual channel marketing plan including volume & financial targets, brand portfolio strategy, innovation strategy, and customer/marketing strategy
* Be accountable for the achievement of annual P&L targets for each Dannon Brand
* Lead the recommendation and execution to drive Dannon brands presence in new distribution channels including C&G, Drug, QSR and any other emerging or identified channels
* Hire, train and manage the Marketing team. Regularly evaluate team structure, capabilities, tools and processes against best-in-class standards. Build a roadmap to achieve best-in-class and drive its implementation.
* Develop and maximize results from communication and interaction with key cross-functional constituents within Dannon, especially the Marketing Leadership Team to ensure alignment on consumer brand strategies.
* Build, maintain and challenge solid agency network to support business needs. Manage annual negotiation.
