- BSBA undergraduate degree required. MBA is an advantage.
- Experience in Marketing – minimum 3 years preferred.
- Proficient with various software such as MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, & Live Meetings, and ability to quickly learn new systems.
- Good working knowledge of the Foodservice industry and its dynamics including manufacturers, brokers, distributors, operators and patrons.
- Superb presentation skills required – both verbal and written
- Collaboration with cross-functional team members to accomplish goals with a sense of urgency and action.
- Ability to define problems and opportunities, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and act quickly
- Effectively provide direction and manage marketing agency project work
- Experience with market trend research such as Datassentials, Technomics, and NPD is a significant advantage.
Job Description
This individual works closely with Sales, Culinary, and Category Management to support K&P’s Enterprise Management Group’s goals through market research, sales training and local customer marketing. Responsible for supporting the Enterprise Management team and brokers with customer segment solutions and how to make them work locally. The Customer Marketing Manager assists with the execution of product marketing goals at the field level and developing customer presentations and other sales tools. The individual must have the marketing skills needed to identify, prioritize, understand and target market specific customers. Success is measured by increased volume and product penetration by customer segments.
