Sargento is looking for an R&D Development Chef to join our Innovation Department.
Top Line of Duties and Responsibilities
The Development Chef position resides in the Innovation Department at Sargento. In this role, the chef will create new and exciting product and menu concepts for sale at Retail Grocery, Food Service, and Food Ingredient customers. As such, the ideal candidate has a keen understanding of GMPs, HACCP, sanitation standards and the internal plant-trial/commercialization process. Culinary demonstrations will be required for both internal and external customers.
The position may directly supervise technicians/technologists and be required to carry out related supervisory responsibilities.
Travel may be up to 30%.
