Skills and Experience

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3 or more years repair/maintenance experience.
- Mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical experience required.
- Blow molding experience, injection molding or previous beverage experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Sidel, Krones, and packaging preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively with management and employees of organization.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be able to communicate and work well with different people at all levels.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Ability to interpret shop manuals, schematics and blueprints.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook.

Who are we looking for?
Niagara Bottling is looking for an experienced Factory Focus Technician to support our plant in Groveland, FL. This position is a key member of the Maintenance Dept. Overall objective of position is to advance overall plant efficiency. This position requires significant time on the manufacturing floor. This indiviual will develop and implement policies concerning proper handling and troubleshooting of equipment, exercising good manufacturing practices, preventive maintenance programs, technical training programs, safety programs, new installation projects and finding root cause problem related to overall plant efficiencies.
What will position be responsible for?
- Collection of performance data and correcting equipment deficiency based on such data.
- Responsible for training operators, mechanics and supervisors on technical procedures related to high speed bottle manufacturing.
- Work directly with management teams at other plants on assigned projects.
- Set and enforce highest standards in safety and GMP’s plant wide.
- Sidel/Krones Lines: Transfer Sidel/Krones technology to Niagara personnel to help develop operating and troubleshooting procedures in the following: blow molding machines, filler, capper, labeler, conveyor, Down Stream, day coding and testing systems.
- Train technicians and operators on injection molding systems and auxiliary systems.
