Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:
Position Summary
The Full Line Vending Deliver Supervisor is responsible for managing the delivery drivers as well as all delivery functions for their location. This involves making scheduling changes, route changes, and covering routes when necessary. This also includes training new employees as well as any on going training of existing employees. In smaller locations this role may also over see the warehouse functions as well. The main accountabilities of the FLV Deliver Supervisor include: Implementing plans for achieving route sales volumes, managing route spoilage, and overseeing day to day out put from the overall delivery drive r force.Essential Functions/Responsibilities
· Make route and schedule changes to drive route efficiencies
· Train all new delivery drivers
· Perform on going training of existing drivers
· Cover any driver vacations and open routes when necessary
· Manage Route spoilage
· Assist sales team with customer retention and resolving minor customer issues
· Oversee warehouse functions in the smaller locations if there isn’t a warehouse supervisor
· Drive and ensure constant communication between the FLV functions, drivers, and customers
· Build and maintain effective working relationships with customers, industry associations and business leaders
· Coordinate with operations and warehouse to ensure proper customer service and standards
· Provide timely and effective coaching to ensure success of team.
Qualific ations
High school diploma or GED
A minimum of 2 years experience managing front-line employees
Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings and/or weekends
Preferred Job Qualifications:
Bachelors degree
Class A, CDL certified
