Skills and Experience
- · Minimum of five (5) years experience as a maintenance mechanic/electrician in a food or beverage manufacturing environment. · Must have thorough knowledge of electrical and PLC skills. · Understanding of preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance methods. · Ability to adequately perform basic troubleshooting techniques on electrical and mechanical systems. · Ability to read, comprehend and apply mechanical manuals as necessary. · Thorough knowledge of basic math, metric system, mechanical and industrial instrumentation. · Ability to read and comprehend electrical diagrams, schematics and blueprints. · Must have a general purpose tool box with proper tools to maintain and service equipment. · Verbal and written skills in English. · Valid California driver’s license. · CA Certified Electrician a Must. · Experience in a USDA inspected facility a plus. · Must be able to work a flexible work schedule per production requirements.

The primary duties of the General Maintenance Electrician is to repair, maintain and perform routine maintenance on fillers, seamers, pumps, conveyors, steam lines, dicers, basket loader/unloader, empty can depalletizers, case packers, labelers, and general plant equipment.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
· This position must be fully committed to meeting manufacturing goals in the areas of safety, quality and production.
· Work with other department staff and supervisory personnel to achieve company goals as it relates to maintenance and efficient operation of all equipment.
· Must be able to maintain and repair Production equipment and machinery in order to ensure daily production requirements can be met.
· Must be able to perform mechanical and electrical repairs throughout the facility to keep the facility in good operating condition.
· Must be able to work within the preventive/predictive maintenance system to keep equipment in good operating condition.
· Must complete assignments issued from work orders in a timely manner.
· Complete all required documentation.
