Job Description
Education: Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or a related technical field seven to ten years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrable experience with maintenance operations, projects and physical repairs of equipment.
Summary: Responsible for day to day operations of maintenance department and personnel. Ability to give technical expertise and guidance for maintenance. Manage employees, budgets and costs for the plant.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Meet goals and budgets set by senior management
2. Plans and directs the overall engineering operations. Oversees the development, implementation and maintenance of the manufacturing processes and equipment with the intent of minimizing costs and maximizing product quality and productivity.
3. Provide technical expertise and support to other departments within the organization. Leads the implementation of Lean manufacturing principles within the maintenance department.
4. Analyze daily and weekly reports and oversee resolution of maintenance issues.
5. Ensure safety within the day to day operations.
6. Optimize maintenance operations through the strategic management of personnel, operational and mechanical resources.

Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of software applications in, PowerPoint presentations, Excel Spreadsheets and MSWord Processing.
