JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• BBA in Finance or Marketing
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills--Pivot Tables and V-Lookups knowledge required
• Proficient in Microsoft Exchange, Word, PowerPoint and Crystal Reporting Software.
• Must pass skills test for Excel, Word and PowerPoint proficiency.
• Strong analytical skills, detail oriented, and capable of working with ambiguity
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, multi-task, prioritize, meet deadlines, work well under deadline pressures and enjoy a fast-paced and changing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to function independently and as part of a team.

• Must have reliable transportation KEY INFORMATION:
• Base Salary: $35,000- 45,000 DOE; Annual review & adjustments based on individual & corporate performance
• Bonus: Up to 15% of salary, based on sales team achieving specific forecasted sales goals
• Vacation: Two weeks paid vacation after full year of service
• Holidays: Five Paid Holidays
• Insurance: Enrollment 90 days following employment • Job Location: Buda, Texas
• Work Hours: Monday-Friday 7:30am- 6:00pm (occasionally requires long hours)

Job Description
JARDINE FOODS has been a leading gourmet food manufacturer for more than 30 years and has a MARKETING ANALYST POSITION available immediately. This has the potential be a high visibility position requiring strong, analytical skills and communication skills.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Initial job duties will include:
• Reports to SVP National Sales Manager.
• Provides analytical support to company executives and internal sales staff.
• Identifies growth and profit opportunities through research & analysis of customer, product and market data; preparation and distribution of reports. Entering basic EFT information, prepare customer profitability analysis, sales reports, research transaction entries, prepare scan supporting documentation, maintain database, calculate & process commission payments and develop custom spreadsheets and financial analysis.
• Product performance tracking, cost/variance analysis, efficiency tracking/analysis, inventory control/analysis, cost accounting (pricing, forecasting) and internal controls.
• Become the “company expert” in syndicated data sources such as IRI, A.C. Nielsen, Awhere Map, Retail Link (Wal-Mart) and Oak/POD2 (Kehe)
• Develop a basic understanding of sales, manufacturing and financial metrics for the food industry including sales forecasting, trade-spend management, performance analysis and reporting, product mix management, promotion management and post-event auditing.
• Act as a liaison between sales, manufacturing and accounting departments, providing analysis, reports and forecasts to VP Department Managers. Recommending process and procedure improvements, evaluate new business opportunities, promotions and new products.
• Provide data for audits and board of director’s reports
• Other on-going assignments and special projects as determined by CFO and/or Controller
