JOB DESCRIPTION

We are on the lookout for a driven individual with a passion for the food industry. One of our clients is looking to add a strong Brand Manager to their team:

1) Analyze brand performance and trends in the marketplace to develop solid branding / positioning concepts and strategies for long term growth
2) Review all packaging to ensure it communicates the important aspects of each item and meet or exceed customer & consumer expectations
3) Create annual marketing plans that include multiple touch points such as media, digital, social, consumer promotions, packaging, in-store marketing programs, guerilla tactics and public relations
4) Analyze brand business results and marketplace dynamics to provide on-going marketing mix recommendations
5) Create a continual pipeline of new products consistent with brand strategy
6) Identify opportunities and implements plans for line extensions and new product introductions
7) Analyze consumer trends and research data
8) Manage all aspects of market research, idea generation and product development
9) Work with different teams throughout the organization to ensure products meet consumer needs, can be produced efficiently and generate long term profit dollars
10) Initiate and supervise all consumer acceptance testing and test market situations
11) Plan & execute new product launches and continue support programs
12) Oversee creative development (graphics and content) of consumer communications including packaging, POS, advertising, web content, social media, promotional and sales materials
13) Plan a cohesive advertising strategy to increase brand awareness and positive perception of company
14) Develop a cohesive web based platform, across all types of sites (including social media) to effectively communicate to both customers and individual consumers
15) Support the Sales Department with special projects that are programmed for extra sales opportunities, i.e., trade shows, consumer contests, seasonal specials, new store openings, etc.
16) Create customized sales presentations and marketing materials, execute customer marketing plans and track product performance at retail
17) Review all existing corporate literature & materials and create and maintain an organized database of consistent materials to help the Sales Department to efficiently sell more products
18) Attend corporate trade shows, staff company booth or exhibit at trade and/or consumer events

CRITICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • 1) University degree is required (preference will be given to those with degree in relevant field, though all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply)
    2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)
    3) Recent experience in the food industry is strongly preferred
    4) Preference will be given to people have recent experience in marketing
