Monitor the equipment process, make periodic checks and adjust equipment or work practices to maximize production efficiency, yields, quality and safety. Accurately complete operator and quality checks that are assigned.
- Maintain overall package and product quality to ensure all standards and specifications are met.
- Responsible for identifying when equipment is not functioning properly and advising a Supervisor or Mechanic in a timely manner.
- Ensure equipment in the area assigned is clean, in working order and that working conditions are safe while operating the equipment.
- Ensure that all required operator reports are accurately completed and submitted at the end of the shift.
- Responsible for monitoring correct and legible bottle, case and pallet coding at all times.
- Conduct required sanitation procedures CIP, External Foaming and Sanitizing when required.
- Maintain GMP compliance at all times.
- Responsible for ensuring work area is clean and quality guidelines are met to meet customer standards.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds and perform work assignments.
- Communicate effectively at all times and especially the end of the shift to ensure effective hand-off.
