    General Summary:

    The Maintenance Manager contributes to the success of the Pepsi Beverages Company by overseeing the preventative maintenance and repair of plant equipment to ensure uninterrupted day to day operations. Through troubleshooting, preventative maintenance programs and within budget limitations, the Maintenance Manager must ensure operations equipment and PBC building(s) is in good operating condition and capable of producing quality product. This individual is responsible for managing xxxxx shifts; union and non-union employees and developing a team of xxxx supervisors.

    Key Responsibilities include:
    • Uses technical expertise to improve production processes and introduce equipment upgrades and changes
    • Ensures adequate parts inventory and manages maintenance parts budget
    • Champions the safety process and ensures a safe working environment for the maintenance team
    • Ensures quality awareness is demonstrated by the Maintenance Department through equipment modifications, process changes and regular preventative maintenance for valves, gaskets, and seamers
    • Establishes the direction and long range plans for the department
    • Promotes the transfer of knowledge between operations and maintenance staff
    • Effectively develops and manages controllable costs budget for the department
    • Resolves employee relations issues and works with maintenance staff to drive capability
    • Provides leadership in the integration of process improvement and core work into day-to-day maintenance management

    Required Experience, Skills and Abilities:
    • Bachelor's degree required; preferably in Engineering
    • Ability to engage trades people and effectively build relationships to drive performance
    • 5 plusyears experience in a high speed manufacturing environment required, preferably consumer packaged goods
    • Project management experience
    • Experience in managing budgets
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills;
    • Demonstrated ability to function successfully in a fast paced, changing work environment
    • Demonstrated computer proficiency: Microsoft Suite
