• Design and drafting education• Academic Experience with AVEVA PDMS and AutoCAD, other design programs a plus.• 2D / 3D software academic experience (professional experience a plus)• Working knowledge of MS Excel and Word• Excellent communication and self-management skills• Construction and/or manufacturing experience a plus• Experience in steel structures a plusCandidates must be able to operate AVEVA PDMS software autonomously. Operating 3D drafting software under directions of Project Engineer
• Working with Systems Designers and Engineers to complete drawing packages
• Detail structural assemblies and create bill of materials
Will need to be able to read P&ID’s- draftsman need to be able to take direct design direction from the Project Engineer.
• Working with Systems Designers and Engineers to complete drawing packages
• Detail structural assemblies and create bill of materials
Will need to be able to read P&ID’s- draftsman need to be able to take direct design direction from the Project Engineer.
Understanding of piping, tubing, fittings, skids design, process equipment and components. Project Engineer to assist in this technology.
Additionally, the PDMS / AutoCAD Draftsman will be attending design review meetings, as well as project interface meetings.
