Basic Function

This position is accountable for the successful Food Safe manufacture of flavors, variegates, nutritional mixes, and ingredient products of our business. Responsibilities include development of plan processes, effective utilization of raw materials and equipment, and supervision of staff with plant safety as the primary goal..

Essential Responsibilities and Specific Duties

Coordinate the utilization of plant facilities, equipment, materials, and manpower to meet production objectives. 

Drives necessary actions to achieve key performance objectives established in each department and overall site.

Maintains high standards regarding product safety and quality, resource utilization, production/manufacturing efficiencies, operational safety and environmental protection. 

Provides guidance, training and direction to shift supervisors to effectively manage resources.

Completes annual performance evaluations and review of objectives. 

Participates in yearly budget process and weekly/monthly S&OP reviews for multiple departments.

Plans and prepares company long-term capital requests and proposals.

Creates cross-functional strategies to decrease costs and increase profits. 

Prepares presentations and site tours to key customers in coordination with sales and marketing.  
 

Job Specifications
Bachelor degree in management, engineering, or related field or equivalent knowledge gained through work experiences.

Minimum 3 years supervisory experience and 5 years Operations experience in food/beverage or related manufacturing environment

Strong communication and leadership skills
