- Qualifications / Skills Required 1) College degree (preferred) 2) Minimum 10 years of engineering experience in a high speed environment 3) Experience in a variety of packaging formats and processes e.g. cartons, case packing, packets, sticks, canisters, blending, shrink wrap, liquid and/or dry products 4) Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) as they pertain to the food industry 5) Good communication skills, both verbal and written 6) Good organizational and time management skills 7) Good computer skills, including but not limited to Word, Outlook, Excel and CAD

1) Establish best practice methods and equipment for packaging lines to ensure maximum production efficiency
2) Be willing to participate in continuing education
3) Specify processes and or equipment for packaging operations
4) Develop, evaluate and improve manufacturing methods
5) Manage projects involving the improvement of existing equipment and the procurement of equipment
6) Prepare cost justification for equipment up-grades and procurement
7) Coordinate project activities with functional groups such as quality and production
8) Participate on cross-functional teams to drive improvements in operational efficiencies
