Warehouse Supervisor
The Product Availability Supervisor (PAS)/Warehouse Supervisorcontributes to the success of the Pepsi Beverages Company by ensuring the availability of product to meet customer needs and improve productivity. The PAS/Warehouse Supervisoris responsible for developing approximately10-30 trained and capable front line union employees.The supervisor must be open to working 2nd shift.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Understands and transfers warehouse operations knowledge to others including resource requirements, layout, route/bulk/transport loading, settlement and Department Of Transportation (DOT) regulations
- Understands and achieves performance standards including Good Manufacturing Practices, safety and regulatory management
- Aligns team agenda with Annual Operating Plan objectives
- Develops others by training frontline employees - setting expectations, providing feedback and recognizing and rewarding good performance
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 3+ years of work experience in warehousing required
- 2+ years work experience in a supervisory position required
- Experience in consumer package products or similar industry preferred
- Strong employee relations, interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
- Demonstrated computer proficiency: Microsoft Suite
- Solid problem solving, planning, process
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
