  We are looking for experienced Product Development Engineer for our state-of-the-art, water and beverage facility in Lock Haven, PA.  This position is responsible for developing and evaluating retail markets/products for existing as well as new opportunities. 

   

  Primary responsibilities include:

  • Develop new products from concept through commercialization.
  • Responsible for all product/process development steps, scale up and final specification development.
  • Work in close collaboration with Business Development in order to identify opportunities for new products and improvements to current products. 
  • Work closely with customers' and suppliers' technical staffs and present to them our appropriate technical capabilities and needs. 
  • Work with Process Engineers and Quality Assurance to optimize the technical and economic performance of existing products. 
  • Maintain extensive contacts with material suppliers to allow development of new raw materials and optimize the performance of current raw materials. 
  • Maintain contacts with academic institutions and outside labs to augment the technical capabilities of FQWB. 
  • Maintain thorough documentation of relevant technical activities. 
  • Interface with FDA to determine requirements for any product changes or new product development.

   

  The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

  • Bachelor of Science in Scientific discipline. 
  • 10 years experience in the beverage industry. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. 
  • Must be a team player. 
  • Development experience in regards to products and packaging.
