Skretting North America (SKNA) the leading salmon feed producer in North America is seeking a dynamic individual for the position of Production Manager to oversee our three manufacturing facilities in Vancouver, British Columbia, St. Andrews, New Brunswick and Salt Lake City, Utah. This position will be based in Vancouver, British Columbia Canada.
SKNA produces a diverse range of products for a number of fish feed markets throughout North America, for a number of fish species, some of which are; Salmon, Trout, Tilapia, Bass, Sturgeon, Shrimp and ornamental such as Koi. The products range from flaking and micro pellets, to semi moist and extruded grower feeds. There are numerous production challenges and great opportunities for this production rol within SKNA.
Reporting directly to the General Manager of SKNA, and working with the management teams at all 3 SKNA facilities, the Production Manager will lead the staff in production, process, engineering, and maintenance in order to achieve optimal plant efficiencies and KPI performance targets.
As a member of the senior SKNA management team you will work closely with department managers to develop and implement a manufacturing strategy that supports the strategic objectives of the SKNA business. A key focus for his position will be improvement of OEE through process optimization across all departments, and through effective captial investments in the facilities. This position will also represent SKNA on the Skretting Global Production Team, an international Team facilitating information transfer and helping drive Skretting's production initiatives around the globe.
