Position Summary
Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the operation of various production departments with a focus on health and safety, quality standards, cost containment, continuous improvement and sanitation.
Key Accountabilities
· Ensures a safe work environment for employees, customers and visitors
· Ensures all production complies with Company quality standards and is within the required food safety and HACCP specifications
· Accountable for departmental production yields and efficiencies
· Accountable for the effective utilization of human resources
· Accountable for implementation and utilization of Lean Manufacturing
