* Must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in the food industry or closely related process manufacturing industry.
* Excellent Process and Production Management skill set
* Experience managing food manufacturing
* Experience managing hand and automated packaging
* Strong technical aptitude
* Strong mechanical aptitude
* Good Communication skills (bi-lingual Spanish preferred)
* Ability to develop and follow procedures and documentation
* Must be self-motivated and disciplined
* Knowledge of Company products and codes
* Knowledge of GMP’s
* Familiarity with HACCP
* Highly computer and systems literate – scheduling, MRP, automated manufacturing.

Essential Functions:
1. Assess capability, efficiency, productivity and quality of department and assist Director in developing and implementing systems and processes to continuously improve production and packaging operations.
2. Develop and implement master schedules to ensure that sales orders and inventory requirements are met efficiently,
3. Manage and oversee production schedule.
4. Liaison with Quality Control to ensure that HACCP, SOPs, GMPs, Quality and Food Safety requirements are consistently met and documented.
5. Manage Bill of Materials for all manufactured products
6. Oversee all packaging lines including Hand Pack, Hayssen Machine, and the L Seal Machine.
7. Ensure efficiency and effectiveness of production by proper planning of production schedule, proper and effective staffing, timeliness of line start-up, and ensuring the quality of product.
8. Oversee and manage tablet press process.
9. Oversee monitoring of temper of chocolate, line manufacturing and maintenance of required checklists.
10. Utilize technical expertise to ensure continuous operation of machinery and make repairs as qualified to do so.
11. Participate in new Product Development and Business initiatives from an operational perspective.
