• Minimum 2 years/prefer 4 years post secondary education with emphasis in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, Environmental, or Quality Assurance or related technical discipline.

Job Description

Opportunity Overview:
Provide Quality and Regulatory Operations Assistance in a world-class manufacturing operation located in Albuquerque, NM.
• There are 5 full time positions available (rotational 12 hour shifts supporting days and nights)
• Not Relocation Eligible

Position Accountabilities:
• Daily analytical (chemical and physical) testing of ingredients, packaging, and finished products
• Data entry into MQIS (statistical analysis database)
• Approval of product against specifications
• Troubleshooting system quality issues, handling hold orders and making quality based decisions
• Working closely in partnership with team leaders and technicians to influence quality decisions and support productivity
• First point of contact to manage quality decisions while on shift, involve others as required
• Conduct lab Standard Reference Material (SRM) program laboratory activities
• Intermediate knowledge of instrumentation and troubleshooting
• Startup and changeover inspections, as necessary and other sanitation accountabilities (across the facility)
• Sensory panel participation and program support
• Lab cleaning and maintenance
• Environmental monitoring program support
• Control of documentation
• Additional duties may exist as assigned
