Job Description
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Results Focus
• Develop and maintain GLOBE/SAP/LIMS systems including inspection plans for routine and monitoring programs for new and existing raw, packaging, semi finished and finished products, act as subject matter expert for SAP quality programs, perform high level QM health checks for system verification and control and provide training on SAP systems as needed.
• Evaluate and develop MES, SPC, or other FFM packages that interface with quality or food safety.
• Manage Integration of Company guidance documents and compliance by coordination of fit gaps. Write, revise and review internal SOPs to ensure compliance to Company guidance documents and regulatory requirements/ compliance document
• Maintain the document control system to ensure compliance
• Internal Audit program maintenance: Ensure audit schedule maintenance, audit training and development, and lead internal audits.
• Ensure compliance by acting as subject matter expert for NQMS and as participant in HACCP and QMS
• Maintain the mock recall and traceability program.
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Perform external vendor audits and follow up as required with audit summaries reported to central audit group
• Participate in regulatory or compliance audits as required
• Other tasks as assigned by Manager.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED:
Works autonomously under the direct supervision of the Laboratory Supervisor
SUPERVISION GIVEN:
Frequent interaction with other members of the quality, purchasing and receiving team. Has occasional interaction and collaborative work with other departments and factories.
FINANCIAL/STRATEGIC IMPACT:
• Plant KPI’s of Safety, Quality, Customer Service and Cost
• Support department Operating budget.
Specific talent (skill) requirements, essential job functions and bona fide occupational qualifications:
REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:
Bachelor’s degree in a science related field is desirable.
Candidate must have a strong background in food manufacturing with extensive knowledge of SAP, MES and integrated software systems with knowledge and understanding of ISO, PAS 220, and regulatory requirements related to food manufacturing.
EXPERIENCE:
Three to five years experience in food manufacturing with experience in Quality Assurance data management systems.
SKILLS:
• Ability to coordinate multiple activities amongst diverse groups of people – both on site and off location.
• Must demonstrate excellent and timely verbal and written communication to multiple levels within the organization
• Must be computer literate and proficient in MS Office and SAP systems. Will learn other software systems to perform job duties
