Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:

Direct the efforts of other members of the sanitation team in a dairy manufacturing facility.
Maintain records of sanitation activities, corrective action, and food safety.
Recommends changes in equipment, plant layout and work practices to improve sanitation standards.
Provide training to new and existing employees
Develop SSOP’s and modify as needed
Evaluate the work of Sanitation employees
Uphold the Safety and Quality Standard of Company

Ensure compliance to all Sanitation Programs and Quality Policies.
Use reference manuals to ensure proper cleaning of machines.
Reference the MSDS to learn about the chemicals used in the cleaning process.
Responsible for cleaning the production floor including peripheral areas.
Perform sanitation activities on production floor and warehouse areas, including disassembly, clean, sanitize and reassembly of equipment.
Maintain sanitation equipment including CIP Skids, floor scrubber, and foamer.
Scheduling of labor and OT.
Manage and train employees.
Must be available to work any shift including nights and weekends.
Maintain satisfactory inventory of sanitation chemicals and supplies, including honoring lead times of approved vendors.
Follow all Food Safety guidelines, GMP’s and Plant Safety rules at all times.
