The Switch Beverage Company is seeking food service sales professionals focused primarily on K-12 accounts . The Switch is a rapidly growing 100% sparkling juice line of products dedicated to offering “better for you” beverages in schools. The ideal candidates will have a proven track record of sales success and relationships in the schools channel.
Positions available in the Southeast and Midwest U.S.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
K-12 School Sales
Develop and execute a sales plan targeting specific School District Directors in territory
Utilize a consultative sales process to understand the customer needs, develop and appropriate sales solution/strategy and close at a high rate
Maintain and develop relationships with Child Nutrition and Food Service Directors in School Districts throughout territory
Maximize distribution opportunities with school districts (number of schools and product assortment)
Develop new distribution opportunites while maintaining and growing Key Accounts
Prepare and deliver effective sales presentations
Manage and work with Food Service Brokers in territory (training, education, prioritization, communication and continually working with to gain and maintain distribution)
Meet or exceed territory shipment goals (Monthly/Annual)
Attend food service industry trade shows (such as SNA) and other industry meeting for prospecting, relationship building and selling
As a small company, you will be asked to wear many hats and do what is necessary to get the done!
Business Management
Create business plan to effectively and efficiently identify opportunities and grow distribution and sales
Maintain accurate customer information by state within territory (identifying and prioritizing opportunities, tracking calls and follow up)
Manage top targets database by state
Approve and process monthly distributor bill backs
Adhere to budget parameters for merchandising, sample usage and travel expenditures
Manage and work with Food Service Brokers in territory (training, education, prioritization, communication)
