- •Should have managed Production Planning / Scheduling for a consumer packaged goods plant with responsibilities extending to inventory management •Exposure to setting up and use of ERP tools for planning & scheduling primarily MRP •Ability to interface and work in a team comprising different functions like production, engineering, warehousing, sales and marketing •Capability to identify supply decisions proactively and recommend mitigating actions based on cost-service-inventory trade off as appropriate •Detail oriented, self-motivated with ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize work and meet deadlines •Sound analytical and economic thinking skills; problem solving and decision making skills with an inherent process orientation •Good written and verbal communication skills •Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office •Team Player
Job Description
Individual will be responsible for devising appropriate plans and achieving high supply service levels (e.g. Case fill) for entire portfolio of Coffee products manufactured at site or co-packed. Key activities will include production planning and scheduling, inventory control of finished goods / packaging materials in a lean environment and a rolling view of risks & opportunities to the demand-supply equation on a monthly basis.
This role will also be a key driver for defining supply priorities for the plant through internal collaboration with plant functions (such as production, engineering, warehousing) and the Sales & Marketing team
