•3 years sales or technical experience in confections, pharmaceutical, or supplement ingredients
•College degree in business or technical area, is preferred, specific experience in related area can be substituted for educational requirement.
•Prioritize leads by potential and develop those leads into sales.
•Ability to target and obtain appointments with prospective new clients..
•Ability to perform trials at customers facilities
•Action and Goal oriented, with the drive to complete projects and tasks to successful closure
•Strong analytical skills required, Strong computer skills, strong experience with Microsoft Office is mandatory
•Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to meet multiple deadlines; manage time effectively and adapt to changing priorities.
•Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
•Excellent verbal and written skills. This includes being able to communicate with customers and co-workers in a clear and concise manner.

Job Description
Full-time Technical Sales Position – B2B Food and Pharmaceutical /Food Coatings and Specialty Ingredients
•Research and analyze the market to identify new customers. Establish contact to promote our products, generate interest, obtain appointments and obtain production trials.
•Help to develop build and enhance sales tools that will enable us to grow our business
•Analyze sales figures, report on and maintain a territory consisting of specified accounts, and generate new accounts.
•Become proficient in powerpoint presentations and the running of production trials for our established products.
•Resolve questions, complaints, or requests from customers.
•Represent our company in a positive way at tradeshows and conferences.
•Follow up on leads from trade shows and prioritize leads.
•Continually assess our competitive strength and help to develop strategies to improve our position in the market place by initiating product improvements or new products; through close cooperation with our R&D Development Team.
