Job Description
Stevison Ham Company was started in 1947 and has worked with some of the largest food manufacturers, national restaurant chains, foodservice distributors and retail stores in the world throughout its history. We are growing and expanding our business in the domestic as well as export markets, so we need to have a top-flight team to help us accomplish our goals.
The position we are needing to fill is for a Technical Services Manager. We are working on becoming BRC Certified this fall, so the candidate must have BRC experience. Below you will see a list of requirements for the job. Depending on the candidate’s experience level, the salary will generate between 60 and 80k per year before bonus. Currently we pay 100% of medical and dental insurance. We also have a retirement plan that is company matched.
- Help to finalize the development of the BRC program and prepare the plant for certification audit.
- Monitor, implement, and update HACCP, SOP, SSOP, and GMP programs
- Manage all levels of the Quality Control programs
- Manage weekly microbiological testing programs
- Train facility personnel on all aspects of new programs and policies
- Maintain BRC certification for the facility
- Work closely with the company president on special customer requests
- Supervise and manage weekly technician schedules and their duties
- Implement and maintain new procedures and auditing programs
- Maintain a high level of employee engagement
