- Must have strong experience working with SAP in a fast paced environment.
- Experience in an ISO or World Class Manufacturing standards organization a plus.
- Must be very detail oriented, must set up a working system and maintain.
- Manage a minimum of 30 people - forlift operators, supervisors and clerical personnel.
- Must be able to communicate with Fortune 500 companies.
- Familiarity with shipping, recieving, inventory control and purchasing and material management principles is required.
- Strong Leadership ability.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, analytical ability, leadership strength and ability to work effectively with all levels of organization.
- Bachelors Degree in business or equivalent, certifications and experience.
- 7+ supervisory experience leading warehouse department accountable for shipping, recieving and inventory management in the Food Industry or manufacturing environment.
- Experience putting together operating budgets.
Job Description
Job Summary:
Warehouse Manager - will maintain accurate inventory through monitoring of daily warehouuse activities, cycle counts and audits.
Job Duties:
Duties may include, but are not limited to the following:
- Responsible for training and monitoring performance of warehouse shipping and receiving employees.
- Will provide clear performance expectations and accountability to meet on-time delivery and receiving requirements.
- Ensure department operation metrics are established and delivered.
- Ensure Warehousing Staff understand the expectation for meeting performance standards.
- Ensure that all corporate programs and best practices are implemented.
