  • SUMMARY
    Create, define and implement zone marketing strategy through sales analysis and in collaboration with zone managers and VP Channel Development.  Strategies will align with APF product objectives for street foodservice operators.

    CONNECTION TO MISSION

    Utilize Marketing Services, Customer Marketing Managers and sales resources to positively impact value and sales of AdvancePierre Foods products to distributor and end user customers. This employee will support all safety programs, policies and procedures, and have a personal value system that will assist in creating a work environment that is based on trust, human dignity, and honesty which in turn will contribute to a high quality of life for all employees.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    include, but are not limited to, the following:

    • Create focused zone marketing support plans for the 5 foodservice sales zones.
    • Manage marketing activities related to zone plans and develop plan, time line, and coordinate all phases of development and follow-up.
    • Perform quarterly post promotion analysis and deliver to VP Channel development and SVP Business Development
    • Be the central point of contact for zone sales (Zone Directors, RBM, RSM, GAM) for support activities and proactive collaboration.
    • Travel as necessary to integrate into zone planning process.
    • Direct all project components; including but not limited to print, direct mail, training materials and sessions, and roll out campaigns while communicating those activities to sales.
    • Work through Marketing Services for project execution, following priorities, and maintaining consistent quality support materials.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
    Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university that has been accredited by the Department of Education and four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Strong strategic and conceptual marketing and advertising background and high level customer/internal presentation skills required.   


    VERBAL/WRITTEN SKILLS
    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to extract insights from sales and research data to create actionable marketing plans.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.


    INFORMATION SYSTEMS SKILLS
    Ability to learn and perform complex Ross and sales data analysis. Ability to demonstrate more advanced use of computers including sound understanding of networks, the Internet, and beyond basic word processing and spreadsheet usage skills.  Must create compelling and accurate presentation materials and selling concepts.
