We started out with a basic premise in our home kitchen in 1989 – to provide fresh and healthy meals. We were time starved as everyone else, and thought wouldn’t it be great to spend quality downtime doing whatever we want instead of meal planning, cutting, dicing, cooking, and cleaning for a change. Wouldn’t it be nice to pick-up high quality meals that are better than homemade, and without the restaurant cost. So, we decided to provide the solution. So much for getting out of the kitchen! This idea was revolutionary at the time and credited Tiffany Gate Foods as a pioneer meal solution provider to the “Ready-to-Eat” category found at finer supermarkets, better known as HMR (Home Meal Replacement). This inspiration still fuels our passion today, and it is our mission to make your life easier, healthier and more enjoyable! We have grown over the years, and search the world over for interesting meal ideas because we believe that change is the spice of life. We constantly update our menu so you have a variety of meal options to choose from. You could say that we also want to share our culinary adventures with you through our food offerings. We are also a stickler for detail, quality, and food safety. Our 72,000 square foot facility in Toronto is HACCP certified. This means rigorous measures are taken to ensure our food is prepared in accordance to the highest safety and quality control protocols. We are also government regulated by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency. And, we invite audits form Food Safety experts like Silliker. The Silliker GMP (Good Manufacturing Processes) food safety audit provides important guidelines for the production of safe, high quality foods. Some of the audit criteria include Food Safety Systems, Quality Systems, Employee Practices, Plant Sanitation and Processing. Tiffany Gate Foods scored a 97% rating which is deemed "excellent". And ultimately that is what it is all about for us – Food Excellence!
