Description
1) Manage direct reports and ensure that all shift objectives are implemented and achieved including production goals and efficiencies (costs of goods and labor) 2) Ensure all quality and safety goals/measurements are met 3) Develop production management skills including scheduling, efficiency, production processes/techniques and analysis of production as well as financial reports 4) Conduct formal and informal performance reviews with all direct reports 5) Develop and maintain a team of motivated, productive and positive employees by selecting and training/counseling as well as taking appropriate corrective action 6) Implement production quality standards including food safety, product cost, efficiency and appearance in compliance with all federal, state and local guidelines including, but not limited to GMPs, OSHA, HACCP, Interstate Transportation and Bio-Terrorism Regulations 7) Identify issues/problems within the manufacturing and distribution processes 8) Liaise with the Plant Manager to define and resolve problems, as well as provide continuous improvement recommendations

Critical Requirements:
1) 3 – 30 years of experience 2) 3+ years of sanitation management or senior supervisory experience 3) Background in food (dairy preferred) as well as good understanding of GMP and HACCP
