Description
1) Supervise the loading of boxcars and trucks in a timely and accurate manner
2) Ensure that the product is shipped with correct specs, quantities, quality and special instructions as well as ensure compliance guidelines are met
3) Inspect trailers and boxcars before loading to ensure that all regulations are met
4) Prepare to load boxcars and trailers by checking the weight of the product versus the weight/length of the trailer/boxcar
5) Highlight special instructions on loading sheets and assign order to the Loader
6) Prepare a warehouse floor space availability list (daily)
7) Ensure all paperwork has been properly completed on trailers, boxcars, bulk sugar and molasses shipments
8) Provide direction to the production forklift operators on where to stack various sugars in the warehouse
9) Ensure that all boxcars are closed and sealed before shipping
10) Oversee daily cycle counts
11) Prepare a daily rail spot sheet
12) Check all inbound pallets for quality and quantity and ensure that the warehouse is kept neat/organized
13) Enforce GMP rules
14) Ensure complete warehouse inventory quarterly
15) Communicate daily with the Production Planner and coordinate activity with Palletizer Mechanic as well as production forklift operators on special handling, labeling, type of pallets to use, etc.
16) Report physically to the prime work location and visit other company facilities (as required)

Critical Requirements:
1) 3 – 20 years of experience
2) Prior warehouse or shipping experience for a food/beverage company
