Description
1) Supervise the bulk loading lines, bulk loading, specialty screening and overall efficiency as well as attainment of goals in all areas
2) Ensure that the employees work towards achieving all the packaging goals
3) Assign all employees on shift to their respective positions for that day
4) Ensure that package weights are within acceptable tolerance
5) Track employee absenteeism and record instances on time sheets
6) Ensure that magnets and metal detectors are checked for proper operation
7) Maintain work order file to assist Maintenance with packaging line repairs
8) Liaise with Production Planner to coordinate packaging schedule
9) Ensure that all employees follow sanitation and GMP guidelines
10) Monitor bulk car and truck loading schedules (daily)
11) Forward all production information to data processing on a daily basis
12) Handle all disciplinary situations that occur during the daily shift
13) Assign overtime to cover personnel shortages due to vacation or sickness
14) Unload both starch and malt dextrin shipments in the powdered sugar area
15) Ensure that all packages have a good and verifiable code date on them
16) Maintain sanitation checklist and ensure that all areas are clean and orderly
17) Coordinate packaging production with shipping supervisors to line-up boxcar orders for loading
18) Report physically to the prime work location and visit other company facilities as required

Critical Requirements:
1) Degree (4 year) in Engineering
2) Minimum 3 years of experience with an aptitude for engineering
3) Previous packaging supervisory experience with a food or beverage company
