Description
1) Supervise day-to-day activities of the assigned department 2) Provide guidance and training to hourly workforce to ensure that safety, production, quality assurance and supply chain goals are met 3) Meet schedule commitments on a timely basis by producing sufficient finished products to meet sales requirements within quality and cost goals 4) Resolve (pro-actively) employee-disciplinary issues/concerns 5) Plan, organize and implement QA function on the assigned shift 6) Support the plant’s Good Manufacturing Program and participate in monthly audits 7) Oversee finished goods/RM/packaging status control by assigning dispositions to all holds and manage proper corrective-action process 8) Ensure timely and accurate shipments of orders, receipt of materials and production reporting 9) Follow all sanitation, communication, safety, quality and employee-relations programs 10) Prepare and submit all required reports on-time

Critical Requirements:
1) Diploma (2 year) preferred 2) Minimum 5 years of experience with expertise in processing, packaging and sanitation as well as knowledge of FDA and other regulations 3) Good team skills as well as the willingness to work the night shift (permanently)
