Description
1) Evaluate and implement basic bakery process
2) Drive manufacturing reliability and flexibility via improvements in process capability of existing processes
3) Handle manufacturing equipment standardization by identifying and documenting critical operating control points
4) Train plant personnel on developed methods and measurements
5) Conduct and design experiments
6) Implement SOPs, quality measurements systems and key performance indicators

Critical Requirements:
1) BS in Engineering (ABET accredited)/Packaging (NAIT accredited) along with union experience (preferred) and experience in quality engineering and/or manufacturing, food science/chemistry or packaging science
2) 5+ years of experience in process and/or packaging engineering, process system development, quality statistics and analytical methods as well as knowledge of process measurement and control
3) Experience in capital projects and new products as well as packaging material testing/start-ups including continuous improvement techniques (Lean, TPM and Kaizen)
