Description
1) Supervise, manage and schedule maintenance supervisors 2) Provide maintenance coverage (around the clock) 3) Be available on an on-call basis and maintain an ownership mentality 4) Coordinate with the Vice President/General Manager to maximize all corporate plant performances 5) Organize, schedule and oversee scheduled as well as unscheduled plant shutdowns 6) Liaise closely with Production and Commodities Departments and provide training to reduce or eliminate downtime 7) Create and support efforts to maximize production through creative problem-solving, adaptation and correction of process bottlenecks 8) Identify the order and inventory of all necessary parts and equipment for a production facility in addition to the milling and packaging operations effectively 9) Oversee the maintenance of complete equipment service records at all times 10) Create and maintain a quality preventative maintenance program limiting downtime through preventative and predictive maintenance systems 11) Negotiate contracts with various subcontractors and suppliers to support the overall maintenance function 12) Establish and maintain a corporate-wide maintenance budget for all the facilities 13) Assist the Vice President of Operations in identifying process shortcomings and improvements 14) Set-up and oversee parts ordering, establish the optimum amount of spare parts inventory and tool inventories in a general stores type system

Critical Requirements:
1) Degree (4 year) in Mechanical/Plant/Electrical Engineering 2) Minimum 5 years of experience with expertise in high-speed rotating equipment (Allen Bradley SLC-500 PLC controls a plus) and industrial maintenance, inventory control and budgeting 3) Experience in multi-plant maintenance management and superb technical, computer and IT skills as well as the willingness to travel (occasionally) to ethanol and milling plants
