Description
The Maschhoffs , one of the largest independent pork producers in the U.S., is stable and growing! We are looking for an Associate Director, Wean to Market Production to lead a talented management team with accountability for overall business performance of our wean-to-market pig production system in Iowa.Location: Iowa
Function: Wean-to-Market Responsibilities: > Lead a regional management team with accountability for financial and biological business performance of the wean-to-market pig production system
> Implement Best Management Practices that drive productivity, optimize efficiency, promote sustainability, and safeguard the well-being of the animals
> Grow technical and leadership capacities of all team members
> Seek alignment with other divisions in the context of supply chain management
> Conduct routine analysis of business performance
|
Critical Requirements:
> Minimum of 3 years previous management experience in swine production or related agricultural business with a proven history of leading others to achieve significant results
> Demonstrated experience accomplishing goals in a team environment
> Bachelor’s degree preferred
> Strong oral and written communication skills
> Ability to travel overnight 20-40%
> Ability to handle exposure to dust, odors, noise and standing on hard surfaces for extended periods of time

Compensation Comments
This position includes the use of a company vehicle with proof of a clean driving record and valid insurance.
