Job Details
Description
•Receive food orders and prepare them to specifications.
•Cut and prepare salads and cold plates for display cases.
•Shut off grill, deep fryer and lock kitchen fridges.
•Prepare hot dishes and other daily specials for Snack Shop kitchen.
•Responsible for smooth running of the operation.
•Ensure all meals are prepared and served to the highest standards.
•Friendliness and politeness when dealing with customers a must.
•Responsible to communicate to kitchen coordinator any maintenance problems or equipment deficiencies.


Critical Requirements:
•Preferred enrolment in a culinary certificate with interest in pursuing apprenticeship
•Minimum 1-year experience in cooking/kitchen prep
•European experience preferred
•Michelin Star rated restaurant an asset
•Ability to cope with multi-tasking and time pressures
•Red Seal certificate an asset
•Good working knowledge of written and spoken English
•Team player

Work Schedule:        Must be able to work Days, Evenings, Weekends and Holidays.
