JOB DESCRIPTION

We are on the lookout for a driven individual with a passion for the food and beverage industry. One of our clients is looking to add a strong Restaurant Manager to their team:

1) Manage the day-to-day operations of the unit's performance, cost, revenue, labor and inventory control, quality of products and services
2) Manage employee relations, coaching and counseling, training and development
3) Manage quality of product to ensure compliance with company, franchise, brand / concept and regulatory agency requirements
4) Supervise the activities of assistant managers and associates by assigning duties and ensuring that the unit is opened and staffed appropriately
5) Manage and review unit's P&L statements to ensure budgetary targets are achieved
6) Review other required reports and operating data
7) Provide analysis to management as needed
8) Manage all quality control records, including quality assurance and loss prevention policies and procedures and cleaning programs
9) Ensure compliance with company and brand / concept and franchise standards of operating procedures, as well as applicable regulatory agencies
10) Manage recruitment, selection, promotion and other associate status changes
11) Maintain effective communication and positive associate relations by ensuring all duties are performed in a timely and professional manner to including performance review, progressive discipline, resolve employee relations, and manage incentive programs
12) Ensure for the proper training and development of staff and support associates to ensure delivery of superior guest service
13) Operate unit in compliance with airport requirements and maintain awareness of volume and activities
14) Work with maintenance staff to inspect, maintain and replace equipment and fixtures when necessary
15) Follow and monitor safe food handling, proper hygiene practices and workplace safety standards for operating a unit

CRITICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • 1) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)
    2) Recent experience in the food & beverage industry is strongly preferred
    3) Preference will be given to people who have recent experience in restaurant management
